Welcome to The Red Vinyl Collective By hanging out on our site, ordering merch, or supporting our community, you’re agreeing to these terms. We keep things straightforward, transparent, and fair—just like a community store should be.

Who We Are & Contact Info The Red Vinyl Collective operates as an online community and merch store based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Purchases, Pricing, and Payments

  • The Essentials: Make sure your shipping address and contact details are correct at checkout so your gear gets to you without a hitch.
  • Rand Values: All prices listed on the site are in South African Rands (ZAR) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable, unless noted otherwise.
  • Accepted Payments: We accept secure online payments via supported credit/debit cards and electronic fund transfers (EFT) as displayed at checkout.
  • Order Issues: Sometimes stock runs out or a typo slips past us. We reserve the right to cancel or refund an order if something goes wrong, but we’ll always reach out to you directly if it happens.

Cancellations and the ECTA Cooling-Off Period In accordance with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), you have the right to a 7-day “cooling-off” period after receiving your goods. If you change your mind, you can cancel your online purchase within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price, provided the items are unopened, unused, and in their original packaging. You will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the items to us.

Our Stuff and Your Stuff The artwork, logos, music clips, and designs on this site belong to The Red Vinyl Collective or our collaborating artists. Please don’t copy, reproduce, or repurpose our designs for commercial use without asking us first.

Limitation of Liability We want you to love everything you buy from us, but life happens. To the maximum extent allowed by South African law (including the Consumer Protection Act and ECTA), The Red Vinyl Collective isn’t liable for any indirect or unexpected damages stemming from using our site or products. Our liability will never exceed the actual amount you paid for the item.

Governing Law and Sorting Things Out These terms are governed by South African law. If anything ever goes sideways, we’re real humans running this collective, so we’d much rather chat and sort it out directly with you than fight in a courtroom.
